Membership

Membership in Santa Anita Bonsai Society is open to all people interested in learning more about the design and cultivation of bonsai.  We welcome beginners as well as advanced bonsai enthusiasts.

The Santa Anita Bonsai Society meets every second Saturday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the classrooms at the Los Angeles County Arboretum located at 301 N. Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia. Meetings generally feature a demonstration or workshop and are open to the general public. Meetings in July, August and September are held at an alternate location.  Please consult the "Calendar" page for further information.  During the summer months the focus is on working on individual trees in a community of learners. 

A monthly newsletter is mailed to all members. Annual membership dues are $20 for individuals and $25 per family. The Society is a non-profit tax exempt corporation under authority of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code and section 23701(d) of the State of California Revenue and Taxation Code. Donations (except dues) are tax exempt.
